Nathan Hutting

Nathan Hutting studied physical therapy at the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht (the Netherlands). He studied manual therapy at the Free University of Brussels (Belgium) and graduated cum laude in 2008. His graduation thesis on pre-manipulative testing of the cervical spine, resulted in two peer-reviewed publications in 2013. In December 2011 he started as a PhD student at the HAN University of Applied Sciences and the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical
Center, both located in Nijmegen (the Netherlands). His PhD thesis (2015) entitled “Effectiveness of a self-management program for employees with complaints of the arm, neck, and/or shoulder” consisted of seven peer-reviewed publications. Nathan is currently working as a physical therapist and manual therapist in a private practice and as a researcher at the HAN University of Applied Sciences, research group Occupation & Health. He is also a board member of the Dutch Association for Manual Therapy (NVMT), a member of IFOMPT
