James is Musculoskeletal physiotherapy Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam university and senior musculoskeletal specialist at Doncaster and Bassetlaw NHS trust.

He is a chartered physiotherapist and an associate member of the musculoskeletal association of chartered physiotherapists, physiotherapy pain association, association of chartered physiotherapists in sports and exercise science and acupuncture association of chartered physiotherapists in the UK.
He worked closely with senior Maitland tutors at Doncaster and Bassetlaw hospital (The late Kevin Banks and Matthew Newten) and through his clinical experience, students mentoring and post graduate education he developed his own simple teaching approach that is based on deep understanding and knowledge of all the current evidence-based concept within the neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice.
James has completed the highest level of training in Manual Therapy worldwide which is the Manual Therapy upper quadrant, lower quadrant and the manual therapy clinical residency program at Sheffield Hallam University. In addition to his busy teaching schedule at the Undergraduate and postgraduate program at SHU deliver onsite training to physiotherapist at National Health Service outpatient departments.
