Dr Dan Rhon

Dr. Rhon began his career in the enlisted ranks of the USMC. After attaining his undergraduate degree he joined the US Army to become a physical therapist and finished off his active duty military career in the Army Medical Specialist Corps. After receiving his Masters in Physical Therapy from Army-Baylor University, he was able attain a doctorate of physical therapy (DPT) from Temple University, a Doctor of Science (DSc) in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy from Baylor University and his PhD from the University of Newcastle. Among many military assignments he served as the Brigade Physical Therapy for the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division in Iraq during OIF. As a research professor, his focus now is primarily on health services research that aims to improve prevention and management of high volume musculoskeletal conditions seen in the Military Health System (e.g., lower extremity injuries, back and neck pain).
