Dr Amy McDevitt

Associate Professor, University of Colorado Physical Therapy Program

As an accomplished Associate Professor, she brings a wealth of experience in higher education, specializing in Spinal Manipulation, Outpatient Orthopedics, Education, and Clinical Research. Her strong foundation, backed by a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, coupled with a Ph.D. from the University of Newcastle, Australia, fuels her commitment to advancing the field. Throughout her career, she has contributed to numerous impactful research projects, and she is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of physical therapy professionals. Her approach emphasizes promoting learner curiosity while emphasizing the importance of clinical reasoning and patient-centeredness in the context of patient care. She is always eager to collaborate with like-minded professionals and contribute to the continued growth and success of the field of physical therapy.
