Fatma graduated from Cairo University in 2008 with a BSc in Physiotherapy, and since then, she has embarked on a fruitful journey with Primephysio Training UK. Between 2008 and 2014, she had the opportunity to shadow many big international tutors, including 6 international McKenzie tutors, Mulligan, Bobath, Cyriax, and manual therapy tutors during teaching activities in Egypt, Dubai, and Oman under the umbrella of Primephysio Training UK. As a branch manager, she was the main host and assistant tutor. Shadowing such a broad range of expertise was a great privilege and was influential in shaping her clinical and teaching skills. Following a lengthy and comprehensive training program, she received her teaching certification from Primephysio Training UK, which gave her the required skills and training to start her teaching career. She started teaching short workshops since 2012 after completing her McKenzie certification with McKenzie Institute International. This was followed by many teaching activities related to the field of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy.
A new chapter in her career started last year in January when she joined the board of the Orthopedic Manual Therapy Academy as a member. She was part of the curriculum development team, where she shaped a teaching program that meets the world's highest standards of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. In 2013, she successfully completed a certificate in Pilates and qualified as a Pilates instructor by STOTT Pilates Canada. This gave her new skills and a range of knowledge that has been well integrated into her teaching of manual therapy.
After more than 10 years of experience working with a wide variety of patients in private practice as a therapist and Pilates instructor, Fatma discovered Kinetic Control. She found that its rigorous clinical framework helped her to use movement assessment and retraining in her treatment, alongside the integration of Pilates, as a long-term effective and high-standard management, rehabilitation, and patient care strategy. She joined Comera Movement Sciences as a Kinetic Control tutor in 2019.
This program:

The discussion and application are based on integrated approach, where a variety of manual therapy concepts are carefully selected and applied to a specific approach in a logically blended manner.
Indicative content:

120 manual techniques that cover Spine and extremities. (Joint and neural mobilization, taping, muscle energy and flexibility training strategies).

Motor Control and exercise prescription strategies for spine and extremities.

Real patient demonstration, 12 case studies and 60 mini scenarios to guide the clinical discussion and practical application.
Learning strategies: ‘’Active learning approach’’
Short lectures: Tutor never talks more than 20 minutes, this will be followed by a case study, group discussion, practical lab or all of them.
Structure:

Online pre-course material includes lectures and Short MCQ practice tests.

Four busy Days of face-to-face practice-based learning.

Final formative practical assessment and online MCQ in the final day of the course.
Upon successful completion of the program, attendee will receive an attendance certificate as well achievement certificate by OMTA and PRIMEPHYSIO-UK.
Names of graduates to be listed at OMTA website as OMTA certified therapist.
