Prof. Mark Lasslet
PhD, NZRSP, FNZCP, Dip.MT, Dip.MDT

Mark is a leading authority in the field of spinal and Sacro-iliac joint pain , he has been in continuous physiotherapy practice since 1971. He is a former senior peripheral joint and spinal instructor for the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapists Association, and a former international instructor for the McKenzie Institute. He has been a tutor in biostatistics and study design for AUT University, and supervisor for doctoral students undertaking diagnostic accuracy research. He completed his PhD from Linköping University (Sweden) in 2005. Mark has about 90 scientific publications. His book “Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy: The Upper Limb” was published in 1996 (out of print).Mark was the first physiotherapist to be Board registered as a clinical specialist in New Zealand (2014). He is an honorary life member of the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapists Association,Physiotherapy
New Zealand, and the Swedish branch of the McKenzie Institute.
Mark currently is in part time private practice, creates online instructional material for the Physio Academy. His courses are aimed at new graduates through to clinical doctorate level clinicians. He remains actively involved in clinical research.
